For years people asked where I filmed the “Hang on Sloopy” dance with Rick Derringer in 1975. I lived in Woodland Hills at the time near LA and Hollywood. So it didn’t take me long to drive to the address they gave me a few days before. The film shoot was at the most storied studio in all of Hollywood and I revealed the name of the studio in this video at my Sloopy Girl YouTube channel. Click below to watch it.

I performed my now famous "Sloopy Girl" dance in 1975. At the time, Rick Derringer, previously the front man for the McCoys who'd had the hit with the tune, was re-releasing "Hang On Sloopy" ten years after it had topped the pop charts. It was nearly 40 years later that by happenstance I finally saw my dance appear on YouTube. Since it has been on social media, the Sloopy dance video has been viewed more than 200 million times. I live in Tennessee these days and I look forward to communicating with my friends and fans by way of this website and at my "Sloopy Girl" YouTube channel.
