This photo is from July 2024. I was visiting Langley, WA on Whidbey Island with my sisters and brother in law. In Langley, I first met Steven Smith who has worked with me on my Sloopy Girl videos.

I performed my now famous "Sloopy Girl" dance in 1975. At the time, Rick Derringer, previously the front man for the McCoys who'd had the hit with the tune, was re-releasing "Hang On Sloopy" ten years after it had topped the pop charts. It was nearly 40 years later that by happenstance I finally saw my dance appear on YouTube. Since it has been on social media, the Sloopy dance video has been viewed more than 200 million times. I live in Tennessee these days and I look forward to communicating with my friends and fans by way of this website and at my "Sloopy Girl" YouTube channel.
